Untooned Characters
Collection of “untooned” images that show us how our favourite cartoon and video game characters would look like in real life. Ive posted some of these before but thought i should include again with the rest.
Some creepy, some weird, some not quite accurate, but still cool!

"Love Struck" print by Tyson McAdoo
Pinup artist Tyson McAdoo has just added a new print to his online shop. “Love Struck” is a 16″ x 20″ giclee on Somerset Velvet paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for $80. Out of all the prints in Tyson’s store this is the only limited edition print, and I don’t think this one will be hanging around long. The model for the image is Miss Mosh, and it looks perfectly like her. The colors in the pose of the figure in this piece really makes the image stand out.

Beautiful Leaf Carvings
Leaf carvings have emerged as a new way to appreciate what mother nature "leaves" behind (pun intended). With delicate precision, the artist slowly scrapes off the leaf's outer layers, revealing its near transparent surface. Not just any leaf will do, artists prefer using the leaves of the Chinar tree, which is native to India, Pakistan, and China. Resembling maple leaves, the distribution of veins in the Chinar leaves are the best suited for this kind of art and the leaves are considered 'lucky' in Chinese tradition.

15 Design Posters That Pertain to Everyday Life
Though most design posters are made to inspire fellow creatives, many of them apply to anyone in their everyday life. The beauty of it all, of course, is that designer, artist, doctor or engineer, we all share very similar life experiences. We all seek to find inspiration, tap into our own creativity, and hope to overcome our worries and our fears.

Who’s gonna eat my soup?
Artist: Fiodor Sumkin
This picture is inspired by Gnarls Barkley's song "Who's Gonna Save My Soul”.
I've been working on it about six months, from August 2009 til January 2010. The biggest challenge was to organize the process without getting lost in the details.
Initially I planned to finish this work in November 2009, but then I decided to use calligraphy with Blackletter type or Gothic scripts. I've spent most of the December on studying different Latin-based scripst used in Medieval Europe and trying them out. Luckily, it turned out to be an interesting and exciting task. Very soon I chose a technique that suited me best.
