“All Work And No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy” print @ Last Exit to Nowhere
While goofing off at work, I was able to find an amazing t-shirt company based in the UK “Last Exit to Nowhere”. Along with having an insane amount of shirts based on some of the best cult movies imaginable, they also have a limited edition print to be had. “All Work And No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy” is a screenprint based on that exceedingly chilling scene in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 masterpiece “The Shining”. It never occurred to me how great of a print this would make until I saw it on this site. This screenprint is 16.5″ x 23.4″ on natural white paper with water based ink, signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for around $64. This print is does not come framed, the image just shows what it will look like all framed up.

Mom & Popism in NYC
If you’re in the New York City area you should drop in to see Mom & Popism, an exhibition presented by Gawker Artists. The show, curated by Billi Kid, is a reinterpretation of the book Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York by James and Karla Murray . The two artists’ photographs are enlarged and depict unique storefronts that have slowly disappeared from the urban landscape they used to define. Located on 210 Elizabeth Street, it’s open to the public for one day only on August 15th, but personal appointments can be made through the end of August.
